Remember the gorgeous couple whose engagement-shoot picnic basket I was obsessing over in a recent post? I’m back with the rich & colourful story of their Fort Edmonton Park wedding. What a gorgeous one it was!
Thank God Hannah & Zion found each other. It doesn’t get better than this. Not to beat up an old cliche, but they are truly perfect for each other. The most unforgettable part of this wedding for Rob & I was witnessing this rite of passage as supported by their immediate families and close friends (and there were many). There was SO much love. The family values and delicate reverence for tradition, reinforced by deep and gentle love for each other is no doubt the bedrock for their marriage. (Plus, they are super hot and super nice AND love our favourite pizzeria Famoso as much as we do :))
Fort Edmonton Park might be my favourite wedding venue in the city. There’s so much heart and history here! Both the ceremony and the reception were held at the Blatchford Hangar, a spacious yet cozy rustic barn. A team of most creative and scrupulous friends & family adorned the hall with beautiful decorations and set up a stellar candy bar.
Without further ado, here’s our favourite collection of images from their Big Day!
I’m so incredibly honoured Hannah used the gorgeous Tessa Kim birdcage veil that I wore on my wedding day as her ‘something borrowed’! It looked absolutely divine. (Any of you Nova brides can take me up on this too, hehe!)

Elizabethan Catering delivered THE best wedding buffet we’ve ever savoured at a wedding. And that’s saying a lot!
Hannah & Zion – you guys are the best! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness, we can’t wait to see your family grow!! LOVE, K+R.
